Christina has been studying dance since she was a little thing in hand-me-down ballet shoes and although she thought she might be a doctor... she ended up at the UI at Urbana-Champaign studying dance instead.
Middle Illinois was not the most exciting location so she went afar and studied in New York and at the Laban Centre in London, England. You can't stop a girl that loves to travel.
Christina has been working with The Seldoms since 2003 when she finally moved back to Chicago from lovely London after earning her MA in Dance Studies at Laban. As a Londoner, Christina had a series of odd jobs, for odd people, in addition to performing professionally and teaching.
She reluctantly left the UK, with hopes to return to one day – this made easier by the fact that she married a British guy. It was a legitimate marriage – it's been seven years and they are still a happy couple.
Christina currently teaches dance and Pilates throughout Chicago and is adjunct faculty at The Dance Center of Columbia College. In her spare time, in between her three jobs, she likes to take it easy. Movies, couch and dinner are her favorite 'normal' activities. Not-so-favorite activities include fixing up the never-ending fixer-upper that her and her husband call home.
