Damon D. Green Dance Study Scholarship

Created in August 2024, the Damon D. Green Dance Study Scholarship is a bi-annual award for Chicago dancers, ages 18-23. The awardee receives free training — Open Company Class for five months (twenty classes), a $500 stipend, and constructive feedback and career guidance from The Seldoms' lead artists.

The award is named for Associate Director Damon D. Green in honor of his 17 years with The Seldoms and his exceptional work as a teacher for us and in his own TEXTUREDance Studio. Green is a passionate dance educator and a community-builder, and we celebrate his commitment to dance excellence.
